Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Manager to join our team. As a Manager of SDET, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of SDETs to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with software engineers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand the requirements and functionalities of our products, and develop effective test strategies and frameworks to validate the accuracy and performance of the code. This position is located in Uttara, Dhaka. Key Responsibilities

- Leading and mentoring a team of SDETs to ensure the successful execution and delivery of automated tests
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the business requirements and technical specifications of our products
- Designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright and Cucumber.
- Developing test plans, cases, and scripts to validate the functionality and performance of our software.
- Executing and maintaining automated tests, and tracking and reporting defects and issues
- Evaluating and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our testing processes and tools
- Providing technical guidance and support to QA analysts and software engineers
- Evaluate and provide performance feedback to SDETs to drive top performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing teams of SDETs
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of continuous integration and experience incorporating test automation into build pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in software testing and automation, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams. You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
