Job Description
- Work with product team to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute the plans to thoroughly test all software releases under your charge, which can include client and server-side products, API platform and server infrastructure.
- Create automated tests for the test cases, manually test software for which automation is not available yet.
- Report and track defects, prepare test plan report, sign off on releases.
- Help define, implement, and drive adoption of QA best practices and processes. Proactively help improve processes.
- Support other test areas including performance, load, security.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years hands on manual amp; automation experience with web and mobile applications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field from a recognized university
- Experience in Selenium or other similar automation tool
- Familiar with CI/CD tools amp; Exposure to agile methodology
- Programming experience in an OOP language
- Ability to work on different databases.
- Experience with test design techniques
- Ability to write and maintain test cases amp; review requirements and test cases when necessary.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Performance or security testing experience is an added advantage
