Some of our major projects and products include Nationwide Primary amp; Secondary Education ERP solutions for Bangladesh Government, Higher Education Management System running in 400+ US universities, Banking Compliance System running in 200+ financial institutions in the USA, 2021 BASIS National ICT Award winning ERP solution for container cargo management of private container yards.
Currently, we are looking for a System Administrator who shall be responsible for the following -
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks and perform system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN, DNS and DHCP.
- Virtualization VMware basic knowledge.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Investigating faults in the network.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, capacity planning and updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Install firewall and security systems for safety from cyber-attacks, or a third party accessing confidential information, and to manage a secure.
- communication and connection within different networks.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of the network-oriented queries and their plausible solutions.
- Work with different teams for efficient and effective communication of ideas regarding the working of different network components and operational work.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience
- Deep understanding of networking protocols
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- Creative problem-solving skills
- An ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Good time management skills
- An ability to follow processes
- Strong documentation skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Commercial and business awareness
- Knowledge of programming languages a plus
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in CSE, EEE or Similar Background
