Why is this role important to Field Nation?The Implementation Engineer is an entry-level software engineering position that plays a crucial role for our customer on-boarding and product teams. They are responsible for helping customers to implement their integration with our Field Nation system, support customers during the implementation phase, and act as a primary escalation point once the integration is complete. This position offers the opportunity to be in a fast-paced, high growth environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. This position is located in Minneapolis, MN and reports to the Director of Engineering.What you'll do (Main Responsibilities):

We require candidates to complete a criminal background check at the offer stage of our interview process.
- Consultation with customers and internal partnersHelp customers with data mapping
- Review customer code snippets and provide feedback
- Work with customers to develop detailed testing and training plans
- Support customer user acceptance testing
- Train customers on Field Nation integration interfaces
- Develop detailed cutover and implementation transition plans
- Communicate effectively with the customer when problems arise and ensure they receive a timely response
- Monitor, triage, and respond promptly to incoming customer issues
- Identify and implement a quick solutions (data or code changes) when problems arise and help the team plan out long-term resolutions
- Provide on-call support for integration customers
- Previous experience in web and software development
- Experience in working with customers to solve their problems
- The ability to think independently while also working collaboratively to creatively and quickly solve customer problems
- Ability to identify, propose and implement solutions
- Demonstrated effective oraland written communication skills, including poise in pressure situations
- The ability to convert technical terminology into layman's terms
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- An interest in software development and being a part of a product company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with relational databases
- Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as javascript
