Why is this role important to Field Nation?Field Nation is in the business of connectionconnecting a network of Field Service technicians to thousands of jobs. We are looking for a Group Product Manager to innovate and drive business growth through a category focused development strategy in order to drive further penetration into markets through network effects by developing a larger network of vetted amp; engaged technicians in the focus categories. You'll also be responsible for developing the technician network acquisition strategy and funnel conversion, establishing the right KPIs and showcasing Field Nation’s value proposition to them. This role will be responsible for setting the strategy and executing on a high-velocity product experimentation pipeline to drive increased conversions across prioritized marketplace network categories.
As the Group Product Manager for the Network, you will drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap of initiatives while leading a team of product managers to execute, refine and own results.
Field Nation’s corporate office is located in Minneapolis, MN. While it is preferred this position be located in Minneapolis, for the right top performer, this position could be fully-remote. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product.What you’ll do:

- Responsible for the strategy and development of new and existing Marketplace network categories.
- Define a compelling strategy for how we approach key problems like skill assessment and development, technician recruitment and onboarding, and marketplace vetting and match.
- Analyze marketplace dynamics, user engagement, retention, and monetization data at a macro and micro level. Report on performance, identify issues and opportunities, and propose and execute on ways to optimize.
- Work closely with the Marketplace Product and Provider Recruitment teams to analyze new market targets amp; opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional teams to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals. Requires collaborating with and challenging all members of cross functional teams (e.g. design, engineering, marketing, data, legal, etc.) to think boldly and creatively and channel that energy into concrete and rapid execution.
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual network statistics.
- Share findings and advocate for new business cases and methods via internal presentations and documentation across business lines. Research is a natural strength of the role.
- Manage, hire, coach and help grow a team of product managers in the organization.
- Academic degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or Finance.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience - designing and building large-scale e-commerce, exchange, or marketplace capabilities.
- Domain expertise in experimentation, platforms, and analytical / statistical tools.
- Excellent data analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication, project management, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen to include proven experience in grasping market and technology trends.
- Self-starter with natural curiosity and investigative skills who takes ownership to drive results.
- Proficiency in data access tools such as SQL is a big plus.
- Proficiency in using Excel or similar data analysis tools to manipulate and visualize data is a big plus.
- Strong statistical foundations.
- Successfully demonstrated driving significant business growth (gt;30% / year) at scale within a large enterprise.
