Job Description
Job Responsibility: · Ensure successful launching of digital products and projects that is fully aligned with local laws and also positions the Company in the best-protected environment· Provide guidance, supervision, and advice on telecom business and commercial issues of the company· Consult with external local and international legal counsels as and when required and obtain required expert opinion that addresses business needs· Take a leading role in major contract negotiations and supervise the team works in contract drafting, vetting, and providing legal opinion· Recommend superior legal solution to match the business interest and legal compliance· Provide expert guidance and lead the dispute resolution process and dialogue with the vendors, distributors, and external stakeholders as the legal spokesperson of the Company· Provide effective amp; inspiring leadership, establish amp; delegate work responsibilities, help create a conducive work environment and build amp; sustain an engaged team· Provide feedback and guidance to direct reports for development and career planning while driving a high-performance culture· Examine current business processes and practices related to digital, telecom, and commercial matters and identify legal and regulatory risks and ensure to review, analyze and remove the gap in compliance and impact of non-compliance in the business
Required Academic Qualifications· LL.M from a reputed university is preferable
Required Experience· 10 years experience as in-house counsel in major operations with commercial responsibility; Experience in digital business is requiredRequired Knowledge amp; Skills· Thorough knowledge of Telecommunication laws and business, · Thorough knowledge of general commercial and corporate laws, · Thorough knowledge of the digital landscape and related laws· Advanced Communication skills· Advanced Stakeholder Management skills· Advanced People Management skills· Advanced drafting skillDeadline
