Job Description

The fastest growing Cloud Based Marketplace Company, Field Nation is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our team in Uttara, Dhaka. This position will work closely with the US based Accounting team and offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment where innovative ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, timely and relevant recording of financial information
  • Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Assist in bank and different kinds of accounts reconciliation such as account payable and receivable
  • Assist in preparation of financial document such as invoices, bills and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks
  • Customer Support for Accounting that includes answering phones, handling communications with clients and vendors via phone through Sales Force support cases.
  • Oversee accounting cases to ensure they are being responded to on a prompt basis
  • Aid in implementation of accounting policies and identifying the areas of improvement.
  • Assist with month and year-end closing.
  • Comply with work policies set by the organization.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices,
  • 0-1 years of previous experience of general accounting and customer service.
Key Competencies
  • Proficiency in oral and written English is must.
  • Ability to work in night shift
  • Ability to handle pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to understand when to escalate issues to high level
  • Team working ability.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Basic understanding of USA GAAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
