Job Description
Job Responsibility: · Design the overall release management strategy for Digital team and act as the Project Lead to manage central release manager for digital products and delivery governance interfacing between Digital, Technology and the augmented/outsourced development Team· Responsible for removing impediments and blockers preventing the release progress of sprints by working closely with technology, development vendors and digital product teams· Manage to maintain the feature backlog for releases as a lead of Digital product teams and prioritize the features of the backlog depending on the business and urgencies involving all stakeholders from Technology, Digital team and all other vendors· Act as a Lead to be involved in the scrum process and work closely with the product owner, scrum master and agile Dev team for sprint planning and sprint review· Design the operational strategy to create and develop knowledge development framework and implement on the job learning framework for in-house developers to gain code level knowledge on Banglalink’s digital assets· Leverage the learning framework for build understanding on the application and infrastructural architecture, assess the understanding level of implement learning in order to measure the quality by assigning team to development tasks to the in house engineering team· Responsible for the defining, maintaining and governing the development KPIs and provide technical expertise and coach the development teams to adopt DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, automated testing containerization etc) for increasing feature release frequency· Ensure Development QA Engineers are equipped with the adequate knowledge; identify training requirements and build competency to develop resources, manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback and formal appraisal, handle administrative issues including recruitment, leaves, grievances etc.
Required Academic Qualifications·Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology from any UGC approved universityRequired Experience· 8-10 years of experience working, preferably within the telecoms industry
Required Knowledge amp; Skills· Advanced understanding of Software Development Lifecycle model· Advanced understanding in Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) applicable to the digital product development· Advanced technical knowledge and experience in building digital products (e.g. mobile apps) full stack software development using popular technologies like HTML5, CSS, Javascript (React JS, Angular JS), Python, PHP, Mysql, MongoDB, REDIS· Advanced knowledge on DevOps processes and tools continuous integration(CI), continuous deployment(CD), cloud (AWS, GCP), containerization, infrastructure-as-code· Sound project management· Sound knowledge in business strategy skills to build the solutions necessary to ask the right questions and find the right answers
