Know our team:
Nutrition International’s Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI’s field operations in Asia and Africa. This position will report to National Program Officer, which is responsible to design, plan, manage, monitor and report on all aspects of large-scale community-based maternal, child nutrition and health programs which forms part of NI’s program supported by Global Affairs Canada.
About you
You are a mid-level public health professional and nutrition expert with extensive experience in program management or have held such roles in the past and have experience in working with Maternal, and Child Health and Nutrition in managing and implementing multiple projects to ensure high-quality programming in Bangladesh. You have an excellent ability to develop internal and external partnerships and have collaborated with NGOs, UN agencies, etc. or similar organizations working on public health and nutrition-related programs.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible to support the National Program Officer, Child Survival and Women’s Health with the following:
Develop annual implementation plans in consultation with national and district level government counterparts including preparing TOR for the key preparatory and implementation-related activities.
Advocacy and liaison with the government and relevant organizations.
Support in designing training curriculum and conducting training at various levels to ensure quality.
Support in the design of the BCI strategy and interventions and development of BCI products for creating awareness.
Implementing partners and contract management.
Leading District teams to ensure program deliverables.
Support periodic data collection and validation for monitoring and reporting.
Field level monitoring and supportive supervision for the field team.
