Job Description

Job Responsibility: · Execute compliance investigations and prepare investigation plans, review and update/ modify the plan during the course of the investigation· In accordance with the Investigation Procedure, conduct Investigations with concerned entity and individuals and prepare accurate and detailed Investigation Reports· Secure and collect witness, digital, physical and documentary evidence as part of the investigations using best practice, in an ethical manner, maintaining strict continuity and sufficiency of exhibits and other case-related material· Perform intellectually and procedurally rigorous analysis of technical and communications data using current analytical methodologies and tools, in support of case work being conducted globally· Interview witnesses, document interview results and bringing local fraud investigations to successful conclusion and summarize findings through written reports. Liaise with Group’s Investigation team where necessary, based on the category of investigation. · Using the case management system, implement consistent record keeping, maintain electronic case files effectively; organizing amp; documenting all evidence and communication. · Initiate and maintain communications with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on relevant information and justification on any investigation as per business need.· Drive Ethics amp; Compliance related internal and external trainings and guidance activities.· Support Ethics amp; Compliance monitoring and testing activities and Business Partner audits
Required Academic Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Law, or other related discipline· Professional qualification such as CFE, CCEP, CIA or equivalent will be given preferenceRequired Experience· Minimum 5 -6 years’ experience, inclusive of at least 2 years’ experience in conducting and managing investigations and/or compliance operations in Bangladesh· Experience in Telecommunications Industry is preferable
Required Knowledge amp; Skills· Strong research and investigative skills· Good understanding of the components of a robust Code of Conduct and how they are linked with other policies· Sound knowledge of Anti-Corruption and Bribery practices· Good understanding of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and basic understanding of US Sanctions and Export Control laws.· Good understanding of the legal ramifications of corporate non-compliance in national and international context.· Good knowledge of law, accounting/ finance, economics, auditing and management · Sound leadership and change management expertise · Analytical Thinking - Sees connections or patterns that are not obvious to others. Able to apply a variety of analytical techniques. · Conceptual Thinking - Demonstrates the ability to link information in complex situations or apply theoretical frameworks by taking a systems view or considering abstract perspective. Recognizes patterns, trends, or themes in situation, behaviors or information and formulates concepts, theories or models to understand and make decisions in complex circumstances.· Compliance amp; Professionalism - Ensures reports remain independent and objective. Has strong knowledge of financial compliance requirements, including applicable laws, regulations and contracts.
