Know our team
Nutrition International’s Operations unit is a dedicated team of program implementation experts who are responsible for contributing to the overall management of NI’s field operations in Asia and Africa. This is a national position which is responsible to be the lead for Nutrition International’s Adolescents’ and Women’s Health and Nutrition (AWHN) programs in Bangladesh. This position will support the Country Director to design, plan, manage, monitor, and report on all aspects of large-scale in-school and community-based adolescent and women’s health and nutrition programs. The National Program Officer will work closely with the Government of Bangladesh at national, divisional and district, other key stakeholders including UN organizations, INGOs, and private sector (such as BKMEA) to effectively implement the AWHN interventions in Bangladesh.

About you
You are a mid-level public health professional and nutrition expert with extensive experience in program management or have held such roles in the past and have experience in working with development organizations in managing and implementing multiple projects to ensure high quality programming in Bangladesh. You have an excellent ability to develop internal and external partnerships and have collaborated with NGOs, UN agencies etc. or similar organizations working on public health systems and Adolescent and Women’s Health and nutrition related programs.
