We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to work with our development team and help execute our test automation strategies. We are a growing company and in order to keep pace we need more experts to contribute, learn and grow with us. As a Test Automation Engineer you will be working within the QA team and a handful of other test automation engineers. - Assist in maintaining and supporting infrastructure around automated testing
- Analyse user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and develop automated tests based on analysis
- Primarily test automation engineering, however would need the flexibility to contribute to manual testing efforts
- Log defects, work with development to resolve and verify fixes when implemented.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement in our process and standards for the entire team
- Demonstrate ownership, care and a understanding of the importance of quality
- Must be a continuous learner
- Experience testing complex web applications and APIs.
- Experience with selenium
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Experience with QA and Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with API testing.
- Experience with standard test case and defect management tools like Jira.
- Ability to program with a scripting language such as javascript, python, or ruby.
- Ability to work individually and independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly motivated, reliable and hard working.
- Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented programming.
- Experience in node.js development a big plus
- Experience with tools like Cucumber JS, Selenium big plus
- Experience with mobile test automation like Appium
- Experience with build pipelines (jenkins, circleci, drone)
- Experience with teaching others technical skills
- Ability to communicate well with American English speakers
- Experience working in a global team environment.
- Willingness to work from 1 PM to 10 PM BD time.
- Willing to work at Uttara, Dhaka.
- Bachelor or Master level degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputed University or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance experience.
