Job Description
Job Responsibility: · Communicate and follow up with the vendor about the fiber cut, mobilize the team to the nearest station to find out the fault distance· Supervise the team to move in the suspected fault area and communicate and follow up with the team members for restoring the fiber· Follow up the weekly patrolling, monthly, E2E test of fiber network and coordinate with vendor for biweekly optical route survey· Collect and verify the test reports from the vendor and assign vendor to rectify the identified faults within the agreed time frame· Collect information of planned activities of various Govt. authorities through vendors and facilitate the vendor to ensure timely completion of all tasks ensuring quality· Review the issued work order from Transport Network; Prioritize, follow up and prepare the execution plan to instruct team members· Escalate critical issues to team management for future guideline and implement appropriate course of actions to solve the issues· Prepare and validate weekly report on fiber cut, pending fiber route deficiencies, generate monthly report, security guard deployment and vendor bill status
Required Academic Qualifications· B.Sc. in Electrical amp; Electronics Engineering or Electronic Engineering or Telecommunication from any UGC approved universityRequired Experience·Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in Telecom industry and Fiber Operation
Required Knowledge amp; Skills· Strong knowledge on Optical Fibers Communication · Good knowledge on Accrual, BOQ/PR/GRN, OpEx/CapEx, Budget analysis· Strong knowledge of Optical Fibers active and passive equipment· Basic knowledge of ADM (Add Drop Multiplexing), TDM, WDM · Good knowledge of GSM architectureIf you are interested to pursue a career with us and you have the required experience amp; skills, please apply with an updated CV on or before March 6, 2021.
