What you'll impact: Field Nation is in the business of connectionoffering thousands of jobs to a network of field service technicians. We are looking for a product manager to lead our Talent Discovery team. In this role you will be accountable for solutions that enable Managed IT Service Providers to quickly find qualified technicians resulting in high quality work outcomes. As a Product Manager for Talent Discovery, you will develop solutions that capture what a buyer is looking for and help them quickly narrow in on talent most qualified for the job. You will work closely with our Workflow Automation and Workforce Intelligence teams to enable service delivery organizations to scale their service delivery efficiently while breaking the barriers to work! You will play a pivotal role in making that connection while surfacing high quality talent in our marketplace and deliver wonderful customer experiences. You will closely partner with outstanding talent across engineering, data science, UX design and marketing as we build an industry leading talent discovery experience! We are currently remote due to Covid-19 and expect to re-open our office in Minneapolis sometime in 2021. This position reports to the Director of Product Management. What you'll do:

- Lead product strategy for our Talent Discovery market offering
- Define key initiatives for your product focus area that align to company goals
- Perform market research, develop business cases and prioritize product initiatives, epics, and themes that focus on maximum value and strategy alignment through discovery and validation
- Ensure product requirements, stories and/or epics clearly communicate customer and stakeholder needs
- Work as a part of a highly cross-functional team to oversee the planning, design, development and launch throughout the full product life cycle to achieve business objectives
- Identify and define key value propositions and quantify their benefits and value to the business, customers, and prospects
- Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization’s direction through your product leadership
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- A passion for and deep expertise in product management discipline and minimum 3+ years experience in product management
- 3-5 years of experience in software product delivery (product, user experience or engineering)
- Recent experience in leading a product with responsibility for ideation, development and product definition for data technologies, preferably with mobile app experience
- Understanding of software go-to-market launch, marketing and sales discipline
- Strong communication, data analysis and business acumen skills
- Enthusiasm and strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across the organization toward a common goal
- Deep dedication to learning through customer interaction and desire to exceed customer expectations
- Experience working in an agile development environment with a sharp eye for design
- Have strong opinions, loosely held, and assume you’re wrong until you can prove you’re right
- Experience with multi-sided platform products is highly preferred
- Bachelors in business or related degree; or relevant experience
