Job Description
Augmedix is looking for an experienced, proven and highly proficient software engineer with a keen interest in owning, maintaining, developing, researching and improving Augmedix’s global website and other web applicationsJob Responsibilities:
- Manage the Content Management System (WordPress)
- Resolve server performance issues by working closely with DevOps
- Ensure website is ADA compliant
- Ability to deliver quality work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to be a positive influence on your colleagues
- Ability to work with modern frontend workflow
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with all aspects of web development including PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/ES6
- Practical experience with Object-Oriented PHP
- Good understanding of semantic HTML5 markup
- Experience with CSS3 (SASS preferred)
- Demonstrable experience writing, and debugging, queries in MySQL
- Practical understanding of content management systems
- Experience building Wordpress plugins
- Experience with MVC frameworks
- Experience with source control systems such as GIT
- Experience with SSH and Shell
- Experience with gulp/webpack
- Strong sense of ownership and pride in the products you build
- Good communication skills in English with experience of working with offshore teams
- You built your own CMS
- You have open-source frontend project on npm
- You have composer plugin on packagist
