We have so far been pricing Data in a very commodity/generic way with volume and validity as the only 2 levers. This restricts our opportunity to monetize data at a granular level and at the same time exposes our pricing to competition who also has these 2 levers only. Service Bundle is being heralded across the world as one of the new ways of monetizing Data by giving the option of more pricing levers to the commercial team. This can lead to usage and ARPU uplift and ensure differentiated sustainable pricing from competition. The ambition is to further scale contribution from service bundling initiatives in the years to come to ensure we can deliver sustainable growth taking away focus from traditional core telco products. This position will be responsible to deliver on revenue growth ambitions of GP through a team of product managers who will in turn work towards bundling both own and third party non-core services with core data and voice products, and thus deliver both top-line growth and sustainable ARPU growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for delivering on service bundling ambition for Grameenphone
Marketing sizing and estimate demand for service bundling initiatives to support growth ambition
Formulate and set service bundling strategy, yearly ambitions, targets and roadmap
Drive internal readiness across all commercial and technology touchpoints with regards to the offer/services/campaign/ product launch
Provide input to Technology and IT to support service bundling ambitions and work with other divisions to set shared KPI
Monitor all performance metric and formulate mitigation plans as and when needed
Monitor team performances and recommend corrective actions to achieve team goals
Ensure support in securing approval from Budgetary, IT, Regulatory, Legal, and other required departments
Explore new partnership/ partner services to boost service bundle portfolios
Design partnership structures/guidelines for new services to deliver on ambitions
Extend support to other relevant functions (Product/ Circle/ CRM/ Pricing/ Finance/ Tech/ CEX, etc.) in the organization to align with business strategy and goals for a cohesive & smoother delivery
Support own team in obtaining cross-functional stakeholder support and monitor performance
Lead & coach team and individual employees (product managers & product developers) to deliver excellent performance using Grameenphone’s Value pillars and Leadership Expectations
Education & Experiences:
Business/Technology Graduate from a reputed University
Minimum 10 to 12 years of experiences in relevant field and/or minimum 7/8 years in product/ portfolio management.
Other Skills:
Analyze customer usage behavior and trends to identify opportunities to offer service bundling
Be able to take discussions with IT and Technology of both internal and partners and drive the required technology readiness and investment for scaling service bundling
Decide on product and channel mix to deliver on business goals
Deciding campaign frequency, duration and launching date and media to use
Measure financial effectiveness of the products/ offers to be launched and campaigns to be run
Evaluation team performance to ensure team delivery
Excellent strategic orientation
Able to work with CXOs and senior leadership teams to table proposals and get them on-board
A passion for listening to customers and delivering world-class user experience
Excellent understanding of general business rules and ability to spot evolving trends
Excellent communication & negotiation skill, and great collaboration skills along with strong quantitative analysis skills
Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas with demonstrated strong capabilities in communicating and interfacing between Sales, Marketing and Technology
