The Senior BI Analyst role on the Data Team is critical to driving success of partner teams by providing analysis, reporting, and dashboards that provide insights and enable decision-making.This position is based in BD and reports to the Director of Data Analytics and Engineering. What you’ll do
- Work on large, complex data problems with a focus on delivering value to internal customers. Define path forward, remove ambiguity and roadblocks, and drive to completion. Act as an owner, ensuring success despite obstacles.
- Write SQL queries and create insightful and engaging Tableau dashboards to provide visibility into results and insights into opportunities.
- Work with other BI Analysts and Data Engineers to solve problems collaboratively.
- 3+ years experience working as a senior analyst, analyst, data engineer, or other data centric position.
- Experience independently working with stakeholders to define data problems, determine strategy, define metrics, create necessary data structures, and build engaging dashboards.
- Experience with common data technologies including warehouses (Redshift preferred), and ETL tools (Matillion, Boomi, dbt, Glue, etc.).
- Experience working with data visualization tools (minimum 1 year Tableau experience required).
- Strong SQL skills (proficient with all joins, CTEs, window and aggregate functions, etc.).
- Experience working in an agile work environment (experience with Jira preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must independently partner with stakeholders to define projects, determine appropriate approach, breakdown work, consider tradeoffs, etc.

- Highly curious nature. Must be driven to solve problems and dig deep to find solutions and ensure understanding.
- Strong accountability skills, including responsibility for completing work independently, raising blockers with urgency, persisting despite obstacles, and learning from past mistakes.
- Confidence with shifting priorities and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder requests.
