What you'll do
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using web development best practices and functionality
- Create basic website layouts and user interfaces using HTML and CSS
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases into Squarespace installations
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation to ensure clear and comprehensive understanding of projects
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling Squarespace websites
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Collaborate with web designers and graphic designers to realize visual design intent
- Write Squarespace code using Squarespace APIs to extend website functionality
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Squarespace
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for website development
- Strong understanding of Squarespace and its features for effective implementation
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for code management and collaboration
- Knowledge of test-driven and agile development practices to ensure code quality and efficient project delivery
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Location: Remote (candidates can work from anywhere)
Contract Type: Freelance
Schedule: Full-time from 2:00pm to 10:00pm (GMT+6)
Start Date: 1st August, 2023
